Adjective Mystery Bag
This resource focused on Adjectives can be used in a variety of ways to engage and support Multi-lingual learners. This resource can be printed, projected, or shared digitally with students.
Ideas for use:
- Shared writing with class- brainstorm adjectives to make a class adjective wall
- Community Building- use it during closing circle or throughout the day to build enthusiasm for adding adjectives into your writing
- Students can take the bag home or find an object from around the classroom

Sentence Frames: (Collaborative & Productive)
Provide sentence frames such as these to facilitate communication both in speaking and writing.

Native Language Support: (Interpretive)
- Group students in triads where they speak the same native language if possible. Encourage them to turn and talk in their native language and provide translating tools to help them teach their Native English speaking peers the vocabulary in their own language
