Watershed | Episode 15: After the Flood

In March of 2019, Nebraskan bore witness to the worst flooding in generations. Survey the damage with hydrologists and technicians from the USGS's Nebraska Water Science Center as they monitor 140 stream gauges across the state waiting for the next major event. They collect and distribute long-term water flow data that can be used by local, state, and federal agencies to predict flooding events, helping to save lives.
