Check out Maa Vue's performance of her song “Txiv Lub Xim Xaus“ with her father, Vang Vue. Maa wrote this song to honor her father and his passion for playing the xim xaus, a traditional Hmong stringed instrument, and to reflect on how time with your loved ones should be cherished. 

Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin is a collection of educational media resources from PBS Wisconsin Education and Wisconsin School Music Association. These resources can be used to explore connections between music, identities, cultures, and emotions.
