Introduction to Greek Mythology

This collection will be used to prompt students thinking about the myths before they read the Greek creation story of the Titans and the Olympians, as well as the stories of Demeter and Persephone, and Hercules. We will look at some ways in which the main characters have been presented in art and how that might shape our perceptions of them. Finally, we will look at some images that show the legacy of these stories in today's world and students will be prompted to use a GoogleForm to submit additional depictions they find for class discussion.
