This activity is designed for educators that teach statistics but can be used with middle school or high school students due to the content.
The activity will ask participants to consider the question "what is data?" The collection looks at typical and historical notions of data, in addition to how artist use data in their work. Hopefully, the participants will come away with the realization that data can be many things but the context, ethics involved are important considerations.
