Harlem Renaissance Art and Poetry

This museum exhibit shows the different kind of poetry and art created during the Harlem Renaissance. It will show the famous poets and artists of the Harlem Renaissance and their importance. It shows the reader the emotion and reason for some of these pieces of art. It will show the motive for why the artist or poets chose to write or create a work of art. The Harlem Renaissance was a major factor in how art and poetry are created today. People would use art and poetry to to express how they felt because of something or to describe their emotions about something. One example of how artist expressed their emotion in paintings is how Lois Jones, an African-American, woman, who expressed how she thought women were being treated unfair through one of her famous works of art.
