This collection will explore what it means to be Afro-Latino, especially here in America the collection will reveal the struggle of being Afro-Latino(a). Students will examine artifacts that demonstrate the variety of Afro-Latino culture (a). Students will hear spoken word and personal experiences of what it's like to be an Afro-Latino in today's world. Who gets to call yourself Afro-Latino? Is Afro-Latinidad becoming more popular?
